Even though Thomas Tuchel has pledged his future to Chelsea, he could be dismissed as club manager if new owner take over the club and no longer need his services despite his achievements at the club. Roman Abramovich has offered up the club for sale but no deal has been reached yet.
Here are three clubs he could join if she finds himself in that situation.
1. Manchester United:
Manchester United are likely to get a new manager by next season. And the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag and Zinedine Zidane seem likely candidates. However, things could take a surprising turn and Thomas Tuchel might become the club’s next manager if Chelsea’s new owner no longer needs his services.
2. Paris Saint-Germain:
Thomas Tuchel was PSG’s manager from 2018 to 2020, winning two Ligue 1 titles and finishing runner-up in the UEFA Champions League. With his exceptional performances at Chelsea, the French giants could need him back at the club if Manchester United-linked Mauricio Pochettino leaves.
3. Borussia Dortmund:
Before Paris Saint-Germain, Tuchel was Dortmund manager from 2015 to 2017, winning the DFB Pokal in 2016/17. Tuchel could make a surprising return to Germany to reunite with his former club.
