The Abia State Government has denied reports making the rounds that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu gave Leader of the Indigeneous People of Biafa (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu 21days to return home and claim his crown as the traditional ruler of Isiama Afaraukwu community or he will appoint his replacement.
The Government in a statement through the Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi-Kalu also denied fingering Kanu as being responsible for the underdevelopment of the State.
Okiyi-Kalu said there is no element of truth to the report adding that it was the work of those seeking cheap attention.
The report had quoted the Governor as saying when ever he sought Financial help from the Federal Government, he is often denied becouse he is harbouring terrorists.
