The General Overseer of Agape Evangelical Ministeries (City of Miracles) located in Obikabia Junction Aba, Abia State was arrested by the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government after a married female Evangelist and mother of five identified as “Evangelist Happiness” who lodged with him at Jubilee Guest House Ovom, Ogborhill was found dead in the hotel room.
According to police sources, the event occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023, after the Bishop who booked the room with her absconded after tricking the receptionist that he was going to buy food that late.
The management of the hotel, who suspected foul play, promptly reported to the Eastern Ngwa Police Station in Obingwa Local Government Area around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to the source.
When Nigerian Police officers arrived at the hotel, the woman was naked, with froth running out of her mouth and nose.
When her phone was opened, it was discovered that the woman, a mother of five children, is a member of the Agape Evangelical Ministries Incorporated, founded by Bishop Timothy Otu, and they have been having a romantic relationship and discussion via text messages, which the police saw.
The woman died during the marathon sex with the Bishop, according to investigations.
The Bishop was tracked down to his church in Obikabia Junction, where he attended his Sunday service and was detained.

He is currently being held at the Obingwa Police Station in Eastern Ngwa.
The late Evangelist Happiness, a mother of five, was from Umuatakawom in Obingwa, while her husband was working in Bayelsa State at the time of the heinous occurrence.
