Fayose, has attacked Peter Gregory Obi for his absence from church services, contrasting it with his past active participation prior to the February presidential election.
During the former Anambra State Governor’s and Labour Party’s presidential campaign, their aim was to mislead Christian people across the country with the slogan;
“Church, take back your country.”
Obi’s attendance was obvious at multiple church events, including Dunamis, Night Vigil, and various other programs organized by pastors who lied to him in the form of prophecies that he will defeat Atiku Abubakar, Bola Tinubu, and emerge victorious in the INEC polls.
In a viral video, the brother of the former Ekiti State Governor revealed;

“All the pastors have been asking Peter not to come to church since February 25th, has God offended Obi or have the pastors offended Obi?” Why will he quit going to church after the election? Even the night vigil is empty.”
