President Bola Tinubu has given 25 suspended journalists a 48-hour deadline to resume reporting from the presidential palace.
In a statement issued on Sunday, SERAP urged the president to lift the restriction and restore their accreditation immediately.

According to Channels, the accountability group also requested that the president reinstate their accreditation immediately.
In a statement issued on Sunday, August 27, SERAP urged the President to officially order the presidential villa’s administrators to allow media outlets and their journalists to carry out their constitutionally mandated accountability.
