Biafra- Orji Uzo Kalu, who holds the position of “chief whip” in the Nigerian parliament, has said that if the federal government gives him the go-ahead he will go to the UK to bring back Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu.
Orji Kalu vows to give Mazi Nnamdi Kanu special offers in his cabinet or urged the federal government to reposition and pardon him as well
Kalu said the main focus of his talks with Nnamdi Kanu was to give up the issue of Biafra independence and seek a Nigerian one.
Uzor-Kalu’s aide Peter Eze said that Kalu told the News Agency of Nigeria during an interview.
King said Kalu told NAN that he strongly believes in a united Nigeria.
He said Orji Uzo Kalu understood the nature of Nigeria and how Igbos were doing business everywhere which meant that it was not Biafra that Igbos should be looking for.
“What Igbo people will do now is to sit like other ethnic groups and look for what others want.”
“Kalu wants the government to give them a chance to talk to Nnamdi Kanu. He has returned to the country to quit Biafra because it is a small country that cannot be compared to a big Nigeria.”
“This will be useful to us.”
