The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, and his group, has made a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm, saying ‘the same way Nigerian authority killed Ken Saro-Wiwa, the late environmental activist, so shall they do to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, AllNews reports.
Self-exiled Kanu put the curse on Wike, who is currently tackling the proscribed IPOB.
This made Kanu infuriated with Governor Wike.
“Wike, I am laying a curse on you, that you may know that The Almighty sent me,” Kanu said on Wednesday during his routine online broadcast.
“The same way Fulani rejected Ken Saro-Wiwa at the right time, and killed him, so shall they do to you – if we don’t get you first.”
Controversial Kanu continued:
“Wike, I want you to know the reason why I hate you now more than anyone else in the world.
“Do you know why I despise you now?
“Because you are trying to divide the children of God.
“Ken Saro-Wiwa tried it and was killed.
“Anybody who tries it will die.”
IPOB, led by self-exiled Nnamdi Kanu is a banned separatist organization in Nigeria.
Its main aim is to restore an independent state of Biafra in the former Eastern Region of Nigeria through an independence referendum.
