Report: Thomas Tuchel wants Chelsea to sell Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner

Latest Chelsea news from the Stamford Bridge live update, Chelsea latest news today, Tuchel latest news today, Chelsea transfer news today, Chelsea vs Everton teams news.

Chelsea played a draw with Everton in yesterday’s league fixture, it wasn’t the best of performance from Thomas Tuchel side as they were completely dominant but couldn’t put their massive ball possession to any good use. Everton held on and made it difficult for Chelsea to get behind their defense. It was a tough one for Thomas Tuchel to take as most of his attackers were absent after they tested positive for covid 19.

Thomas Tuchel was left with just three of his first team attackers against Everton, they played till the final whistle went off as there were not enough option on the bench. Here are the two mistakes Thomas Tuchel made.

N’golo Kante was available for yesterday’s match but Thomas Tuchel didn’t bother to put the Frenchman. It would have been the perfect opportunity when Ruben Loftus-cheek was to be substituted. He brought Ross Barkley on for Ruben Loftus-cheek instead. N’golo Kante could only watch from the bench as Chelsea’s midfield failed to deliver. N’golo Kante should have had few playing time yesterday, who knows he might be what Chelsea needed after all.

Chelsea have now conceded more goals in their last five matches than they’ve conceded in their opening ten league games. Thomas Tuchel will definitely have to sort things out before it gets out of hand. There’s a lot of work to be done, Chelsea will have to win their next games to get back into the race for the league title.

Another tough decision Thomas Tuchel made was bringing Saul Niguez on for Marcos Alonso in the final minutes of the match. Saul Niguez had nothing to offer and Chelsea were doing well without him in left wing back.

There was actually no need for Saul Niguez to get involved in today’s match. He had his chance of proving himself in the past, with the current situation at the club it will be difficult to be at his best.
