1. Late Substitution

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel delayed the substitution until the 75 minutes of the game before he introduced Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic in the match. There was an immediate impact of the substitution. Chelsea intensify pressure on Manchester United’s strong defense wall immediately Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic were introduced in the match. Also, Romelu Lukaku substitution was delayed till 80 minutes.

Thomas Tuchel shouldn’t have delayed the substitution till the dying minutes of the game.

2. Starting Werner Over Pulisic

Thomas Tuchel shouldn’t have introduced Timo Werner in the starting lineup. He should have stuck to the starting lineup used against Leicester City. Chelsea had many attempts but it seems there was no striker on the pitch. Chelsea had about 22 attempts in the match but there wasn’t a good converter on the pitch.
