Michael Owen reveal his prediction for Arsenal vs Newcastle

Former Manchester United player, Michael Owen, has predicted some of the Premier League match-day 17 fixtures, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and other clubs.

Chelsea will host Everton on Thursday night at Stamford Bridge, while Arsenal will face West Ham on Wednesday at Emirates.

Manchester United will tackle Brentford on Tuesday night, while Leicester City will host Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium on Thursday and Liverpool will clash with Newcastle United.

Providing his prediction, Owen’s predicts said:

“This will be a test for United. Brentford’s pressing game can be awkward to play against, particularly with the home fans behind them. I think United will have just too much, though, 2-1.”

According to him, he said, Arsenal vs West Ham game,

“West Ham will be desperate not to lose this game and will try and keep things tight. I can see them frustrating Arsenal and getting a point here.

“I’m going for Spurs. They’ve shown signs of improvement under Conte and this will be a statement win. Arsenal 1, West Ham 1.”

Owen’s further added that, the Chelsea vs Everton tie,

“Things aren’t going to get much better here for Rafa against one of his old sides. Chelsea’s defence has surprisingly been leaking goals, but I fancy them to get a few of their own, 3-1, Chelsea.”

However, Liverpool vs Newcastle fixture,

Owen said, “After that huge win over Burnley, I thought Newcastle had turned a corner. They haven’t. That was a disaster against Leicester and defensively, they were shocking. Eddie Howe will be desperate to get to January and hopefully get a few more players in.

“I can only see this going one way, 3-1 Liverpool.”
