Both teams gave excellent performances in today’s Premier League match, which saw Everton draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea dropped another point as they blew two leads to draw with Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening, with the hosts scoring through Joao Felix and Kai Havertz.
However, the Blues have been struggling for goals recently, and they have only recently returned to winning ways, allowing the pressure on Graham Potter to ease slightly. The outcome on Saturday will not help matters.
There was always the possibility that the Blues would have fallen asleep at the Bridge. They were the better team early on, but they struggled to find a way to score, and it appeared that any goal that came would almost certainly be Joao Felix’s.

Joao Felix scored the game’s first goal after a scoreless first half. He had a few shots in the first half but never really threatened, but when a loose ball fell his way on the edge of the area in the second half, he took a touch to set himself up before prodding a low effort through a defender’s legs and into the bottom corner to give Chelsea the lead.
Everton’s game plan, on the other hand, appeared to be a clear attempt to leave London with a point, with anything more being a bonus. They tried to keep their hosts at bay, but they didn’t have much to offer to begin with.
