Latest Chelsea transfer news, Chelsea today news now, Chelsea live Havertz news today, breaking news from Stamford Bridge, Havertz improve update live.

Kai Havertz was one of the most promising young talents in the Bundesliga before he signed for Chelsea. While he has had wonderful spells of individual brilliance for the London club, his time there has been relatively underwhelming and he has a lot of work to do before he can live up to the massive transfer fee they paid for him.

There are a lot of factors that could go into why he has not yet been a stand out player for the Blues and we will discuss them and then offer up a solution that can get the best out of the German International. For one, his age is a bit of an issue. He is still very young but already has world class mental traits like composure and intelligence.

This means that he already has all he needs to be a top player for Chelsea and this is why Thomas Tuchel needs to build a system that gets the best out of him in his favoured position. He has played under two different managers but his form has remained largely the same under those two managers. This does not mean that he is inherently a poor player.

What it implies is that both managers have failed to devise a system that plays to his strengths rather than his weaknesses. Tuchel’s system actually negates the player’s best attributes and this has affected how the young player plays.

Havertz has also not adapted well to life in the Premier League. It is well known that players from the Bundesliga do not really do very well when they come into the English league for the first time.

Timo Werner and Jadon Sancho are prime examples of this. But given time and good coaching principles, they can become forces to be reckoned with.

So Havertz’s beat role is in the number 10 spot where he is given freedom to roam and influence attacks in different areas of the pitch.

However, This is the same role that Bruno Fernandes plays for Manchester United and if Tuchel is willing to find a system that suits the German player, Chelsea will reap the rewards.
