With only a few hours until the end of the January transfer window, Premier League Powerhouse Chelsea will be moving quickly to bolster their squad.
Chelsea manager Graham Potter, the club’s manager, will look to bring in quality players while also re-signing stars who have impressed in recent months.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the West London heavyweights have extended Charlie Webster’s contract for another year, with the 18-year-old now committed to Stamford Bridge until June 2024.
The promising midfielder, who has progressed through the Club’s academy system, has piqued the interest of Gaffer Graham Potter with his outstanding performances for the U 21s this season, where he has scored 5 goals in 14 PL 2 appearances. Webster has yet to make his senior debut for the club, but he has been training with them on a regular basis and is regarded as an ideal replacement for the aging N’golo Kante.
