President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a list of ministerial nominations to several security agencies, as Nigerians await the identity of their next ministers.
The names were specifically forwarded to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Department of State Services (DSS), and other security agencies by the president.
The agencies are now on the verge of finishing the obligatory background checks on the individuals on the list before they are confirmed by the Senate.
It was learned that the DSS and members of the Presidential Strategic Team were doing final background checks on the individuals named as potential ministers.
According to Nigerian law, the President must announce his ministerial selections within sixty days after taking office and submit the list to the Senate for confirmation.
