Kai Havertz, a Chelsea player, has revealed how he learned Jorginho was leaving the club to join Arsenal.
In the January transfer window, the Gunners were looking for a new midfielder. They tried everything they could to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton, but the deal fell through.
Mikel Arteta and Edu then turned their attention to Jorginho, who joined the Gunners on transfer deadline day for £12 million. (From Sky Sports)

During his time at Chelsea, Jorginho was one of the club’s most important players.
He was instrumental in their Europa League and Champions League victories, but Todd Boehly’s decision to bring in Enzo Fernandez meant there was no room for him.

Jorginho jumped at the chance to join Arsenal. It all happened so quickly that his good friend Havertz only found out about it through a phone call.
“I played with Jorginho for two and a half years, he changed next to me, and I loved being with him,”
The German told The Guardian.
Then one evening he calls and says,
‘I’m gone.’ ‘What the hell?’ I thought. ‘How can this be?’
“It’s amazing how quickly things can change.” It’s a characteristic of humans. It’s football, you just have to accept it.”
