TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi has given Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates permission to publicize and unveil their new acquisitions. Sukazi confirmed the exits of Given Msimango and Melusi Buthelezi from TS Galaxy in an interview with iDiski Times but did not reveal their destination clubs, citing that it is not his duty to make such statements.
Msimango is expected to join Kaizer Chiefs, while Buthelezi’s move to Orlando Pirates was made possible after Richard Ofori failed to reach an agreement on a new contract with the club.Initially, it was expected that Ofori would quit Pirates and be replaced by Buthelezi. However, Ofori eventually agreed to a new contract with Pirates, potentially causing a goalkeeper crisis for the club. Buthelezi’s entrance would put Sipho Chaine and Ofori in competition, thus Siyabonga Mpontshane could be on his way out.
Sukazi highlighted that the official announcements about the players’ acquisitions should be made by their individual teams. He remarked that he prefers to let their new destinations shine rather than making announcements on their behalf. Sukazi wants their clubs to take responsibility of the unveiling process, despite the fact that Msimango and Buthelezi will not be returning to TS Galaxy for the 2019 season.
This news has sparked excitement among Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates fans, who are eagerly awaiting the official announcements and introductions of the new signings.
