The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has come out to send a strong message to Northerners who threatened and carried out the blockage of food supplies to the Southern region.
Recall that the Northern farmers in a memo last week made it known that they will be sitting off supply of food stuffs and cattles to the southern region over the crisis being witnessed there. The reason for this according to the northern farmers is that the southerners are attacking, victimizing and accusing Fulani herders of being behind kidnappings and killings in their region.
Also, the Miyetti Allah said the rate at which southerners profile all Fulanis as kidnappers and killers saying that although some Fulani are guilty of this of fence but not all Fulani herders are criminals.
In a bid to show their displeasure, the northerners reacted by Blocking the supply of food stuffs and other agricultural products to the south west for days while southerners also threatened to cut the supply of oil and its proceed to the Northern zone.
While reacting to the issue once again, Nnamdi Kanu sent a strong message to the northerners. In his statement, Kanu accused the northerners of sending Fulani herdsmen to destroy farms in the southern region and made it worse by food supply to the region.
