According to reports, Tinubu appointed Odumosu to replace Abdulrasheed Bawa as the head of the anti-corruption agency on Tuesday.

However, in a brief statement issued Wednesday morning, the former police chief called the claims of his appointment “completely false.”

He said that the story was fake and urged the public to dismiss it.

I have been inundated with so many calls and messages on a purported “EFCC appointment” between yesterday and today,” Odumosu added.
