Thomas Tuchel has transformed Chelsea in less than six months since he took over as manager following the dismissal of club legend Frank Lampard. The German tactician made history by delivering Chelsea’s second Champions League title after beating Man City 1-0 in the final last month.
Tuchel has now revealed that he wants to make two or three signings this summer. Speaking about his transfer plans for Chelsea this summer, the former Paris Saint German boss said “two or three could be very good”.
It is now being reported that the club is interested in signing at least one striker this summer. The top target are Romelu Lukaku as well as Harry Kane. If Tuchel is able to sign one of them, Timo Werner will lose his place in the starting line up next season or he could be moved to play as a winger.
According to various reports, the club is also interested in signing a centre back after it was revealed that Fikayo Tomori is closing in on a permanent move to AC Milan. Tuchel is said to be interested in signing Bayern Munich defender Niklas Sule to partner the likes of Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger next season.
Chelsea could also sign a new midfield partner for N’Golo Kante. According to reports, the club is interested in signing West Ham star Declan Rice this summer.
