According to the Lagos State Police Public Relations, the Lagos State Police Command has announced that no arrests have been made in connection with the case of Amarah Kennedy.

Kennedy was accused of disseminating sexual photographs of widows and demanding compensation for love-related expenses.

SP Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin took to Twitter to provide an update.

He wrote on Twitter,

“On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, met with the survivor of this disturbing incident in his office.”

“The CP assured the survivor that justice would be served and directed the Lagos State Command’s Police Medical Services to provide her with adequate psychosocial support.”Amarah Kennedy, the suspect, is advised to come forward and offer evidence to prove his innocence. If he does not comply, all available law enforcement resources will be used to ensure his arrest and prosecution.Meanwhile, the officer suspected of requesting money to pursue the matter at Pen Cinema, Inspector Raphael Edeifo, has been handed up to the Provost for investigation and an orderly room trial if found guilty.
