Tambuwal addressed at a reception and send-off hosted by the forum for its incoming governors and outgoing state chief executives, respectively.
Atiku, too, promised the audience that the PDP would reclaim its mandate because it did not lose the presidential election on February 25.

The PDP’s acting national chairman, Ambassador Iliya Damagun, has encouraged the judiciary to exercise caution in considering presidential election petitions contesting the proclamation of APC candidate and president-elect, Bola Tinubu, as the victor of the February 25 presidential election. Damagun stated that the actions of the courts would determine the development of democracy in Nigeria.

Former Vice President Namadi Sambo urged for unity among PDP members in the states in his remarks. Sambo voiced concern about the rate of crisis in the PDP and the suspension of members, calling it “alarming.”

“We have confidence that at the end of the day, the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, will be restored as the constitutionally elected president,” Tambuwal said. Based on current events, we are optimistic that the mandate will be restored. “We see him as the next president.”

“We want to refocus our party for the task ahead,” Atiku added in his brief speech. I’d like to reassure you that our political party did not lose the presidential election. Let us be committed to reclaim our mandate in the last presidential.

“We face numerous challenges.” We used to have the PDP as the dominating party in Nigeria, but we have been declining, and we must remain together in order to reclaim our former glory. We should question ourselves why we are in this circumstance and look for solutions to reclaim our prior glory. But, before they arrive, we must remain focused.”

The PDP’s interim national chairman declared that the judiciary was the average man’s last hope.
“The actions of the judiciary will determine the growth of democracy in this country,” he stated. The only remedy for the court is to ensure that all questions before it are decided fairly.”
