Report: Thomas Tuchel wants Chelsea to sell Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner

Chelsea were lucky not to lose as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday in the EPL. The Blues were sloppy, looked disinterested as the result left them one point behind Liverpool who have a game in hand.

Some Chelsea Players really underperformed as it has been the custom in recent weeks and due to their poor showing against Brighton, they must be dropped by Manager, Thomas Tuchel ahead of the Blues next game in the EPL against Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham vs Chelsea: Head-to-Head, Kick-off time, and Possible Lineup

Here are the top 3 Chelsea Players that should be dropped:

1. Marcos Alonso

The Spanish fullback has been consistently underperforming begging the question why Chelsea have not hasten up their search for a new left back due to Ben Chilwell’s long term injury. Alonso was yet again poor against Brighton and he has shown more than enough reasons why he should be left out of the starting lineup against Tottenham Hotspur.

2. Mason Mount

The Chelsea Player of the season last year has been going through bad form in the last few weeks. Mount was largely ineffective against Brighton contributing little or nothing in attack and in his all round display. He started from the bench against Man City and deserves to do so against Tottenham Hotspur.

3. Romelu Lukaku

The Chelsea record signing has not yet paid half of his price tag yet. Lukaku put yet another average performance against Brighton after his horrendous show at City last weekend.

The Belgian striker clearly needs a break to work on himself and his form and needs to be dropped by Thomas Tuchel from the starting lineup against Tottenham Hotspur.
