Report: Chelsea player 'impose his will' to secure transfer shift

According to reports, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku is willing to take a wage cut to return to Inter Milan in the summer. It is understood, however, that a move will not be as simple as that.

Lukaku is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and believes he made a mistake by joining the Blues last summer.

Opinion: Why Lukaku should leave Chelsea next summer

The Belgium international now wishes to return to San Siro and is willing to accept a pay cut of 12.5 million euros. Lukaku will also have to cut the 8.5 million Euros he would have earned if he had stayed at Inter.

Lukaku cost Chelsea around 100 million euros and Chelsea will not allow him to join Inter on a cheap deal. Lukaku, on the other hand, has not lived up to expectations since his return to the Premier League.

In all competitions this season, Lukaku has scored 9 goals in 26 games so far.
