The bold and fearless ex-agitator Asari Dokubo blast his kinsmen over their mentality, disposition, propensity to the development of the Kalabari region.
For the information, Kalabari region are ethnic group in Rivers State of Nigeria. They make up three local government areas of the twenty three local government areas in Rivers State. They include Asari Toru LGA, Degema LGA, and Akuku Toru LGA.
He blasted his people for failing to develop their areas, rather they prefer going to Ikwerre region to buy lands and build their executive houses thereby causing capital flight which leaves the region underdeveloped.
Also, Asari Dokubu thinks nothing will change even if Wike construct the Trans-Kalabari road linking the Kalabari region. Furthermore, the ex-militant fighter stated that Kalabari’s don’t bring development home. That no Kalabari man has investment in his home town.

In a reaction, Youths of Rivers State from Kalabari extraction discredited and condemned the comment credited to Asari Dokubu. They reminded him that he was part of the underdevelopment in Kalabari region.
The Youths also revealed that Asari Dokubu is but an instrument of underdevelopment that all the billions he obtained from the FG on his agitations during the days of militancy he has used same to run his businesses in Benin Republic and Togo.
They reminded him the lives he wasted during the struggle and how he abandoned them to their fate.
In a related development the angry youths, compared him to Ateke Tom, who was also an ex-freedom fighter but he has used his wealth to restore development and attract Goodwill to his people.
They wonder why such a person as Asari Dokubu can be taken seriously by accusing elders of Kalabari of similar crime he is part and parcel of.
