Based on the inauguration of President-Elect Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the previous election, Peter Obi, has urged his supporters and citizens in general to remain calm and law-abiding, as only the court of law will determine the actual winner of the poll in due course.
Obi declared on the sidelines of an event in Kaduna State that the country’s unity, peace, and security are more important than any other interest, and as such, he urged all residents to follow the law and work for the country’s advancement and development.
“The most important thing for now is that we continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, and coexistence.”
“Let us have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government focuses on caring for the people’s sufferings,” the LP flagbearer added.
While acknowledging that there are problems and issues with the past election, Obi stated that residents must live peacefully and be able to work and concentrate on addressing Nigeria’s issues, which include insecurity, poverty, education, and other vital parts of the country’s existence.
