Todd Boehly, owner of Chelsea, is’very interested’ in buying French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg, according to Marc Keller, the club’s president.
Boehly joined Chelsea in the summer, succeeding Roman Abramovich, and has spent more than £600 million on players in the last two transfer windows.
Last September, the American billionaire fired head coach Thomas Tuchel and replaced him with Graham Potter.
However, things have not gone as planned, with Chelsea still struggling in the Premier League, currently sitting in 10th place.
The Blues were also eliminated early from both the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
According to L’Equipe, Boehly has shifted his focus to acquiring more clubs and is interested in Strasbourg.
Strasbourg is currently 15th in the French Ligue 1 table, and Boehly is said to have already met Keller about a potential sale, in which he would like to acquire 100% of the French top-flight club.
