Chelsea is considering an offer for Lyon wonderkid Rayan Cherki. According to rumors, the 19-year-old is the latest young talent on the Blues’ radar following a spectacular season for Lyon last season, in which he scored five goals and assisted on six others. Lyon are willing to sell and are asking roughly £43 million for the kid.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s initial £50 million bid to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus has been rejected by the Serie A club, according to reports in Italy. The Blues are stepping up their efforts to bolster Mauricio Pochettino’s squad after authorizing eight transfers and raising over £200 million in the process.
Chelsea are hoping to replace Mount with Cherki, while Manchester United are focusing on Bijlow.
Nmecha, a midfielder from Wolfsburg, has joined Dortmund
Felix Nmecha, a former Manchester City midfielder, has joined Borussia Dortmund on a five-year contract from Wolfsburg. The financial terms of the trade have not been announced, although German media indicated that Dortmund will pay £25.8 million for the 22-year-old.
Nmecha joined Wolfsburg in 2021 after spending most of his time with City’s junior teams.
“With his profile, Felix Nmecha is a fast, technically skilled, and physically strong player who will enrich our midfield both offensively and defensively,” Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl said.
“He received an excellent education at Manchester City and made a name for himself in Wolfsburg last season.”
“We’re delighted to have landed another German national player, and we’re confident that Felix’s development is far from over.”
