UCL: Three players who had a poor performances in Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb

Chelsea kicked off their 2022/23 UEFA Champions League season with a loss to Croatian champions, Dinamo Zagreb courtesy of Mislav Orsic 13th minute strike.

The Blues were exposed at the back and that led to the only goal of the night. Thomas Tuchel’s men were not exceptional on the night and there are three players who performed woefully:

Wesley Fofana: The French defender who joined the blues in last summer transfer window had his UCL debut but was a terrific one. His error led to the only goal of the game. He was unable to catch up with the pace of Mislav Orsic.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang: The Gabonese striker returned to the Champions League after 5 years but was unable to make an impact. He was lost in the game despite spending 59 minutes on the pitch. The player had 0 Shots on target and lost possession on seven occasions.

Huge Boost for all Chelsea fans as Aubameyang agent spotted at Barcelona HQ today

Hakim Ziyech: The Moroccan was brought in at half time to change the game but was terrible. The player was unable to make a successful dribble and also a perfect cross into the eighteen yard box.
