Last week, AmaZulu FC, a DStv Premiership team, revealed that they are looking for a new coach ahead of the 2019 season.
This follows the removal of Romain Folz, a former Marumo Gallants coach, from his duties and assignment as a technical advisor in February.
Former player and club captain Ayanda Dlamini took over as captain for the remaining games. As the group finished 12th in the log standings, he helped them avoid relegation.
Dlamini put in a lot of effort, but Usuthu president Sandile Zungu has announced that he will not be the team’s head coach in 2023-24.
According to credible sources at FARPost, the KZN organization has reportedly interviewed three potential “well-traveled” candidates for the role. Alfons Groenendijk, Pablo Franco Martin, and Luc Eymael are their names.
The club will contact the selected applicant in the next days.
