A self-described pastor who claimed to have been healing a 61-year-old woman of disease in the Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums inflicted harm on the patient, who is now recovering at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.
The victim is believed to have had a near-death experience when the alleged clergyman, identified as Daniel Muriithi, was taking some of her internal organs and inserting his arms and hands into her private areas.
The woman who hails from Kisii County was reportedly taken to the self-declared pastor for healing by her children after being in pain for a long period of time the incident caught the attention of a neighbor who alerted the police.
According to the reports given by the neighbor, the pastor was found naked, unconscious woman lying in bed.
Kenyans who responded to this occurrence on various social media platforms to share their thoughts on it have commended the neighbor for reporting the suspect to the police.
