According to reports, police in the Central Region rescued a woman suspected of being a witch who fell while flying during a midnight prayer session at Gomoa Assin.
After fainting during a nocturnal prayer session, police rescued an alleged witch.
The woman is believed to have been caught by the holy spirit and crashed-landed while attempting to fly over a group of Christians praying.
Deeper Church International’s leader, Osofomaame Mary, revealed this on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, stating it happened around 12:30.
While the prayer was going on, she noticed a figure in a black dress and scarf fall at the place, which grabbed the attention of others.
“I drew the attention of the others, and we increased the intensity of our prayers so she couldn’t move again.” “I moved forward and asked for a sachet of water, which I poured on her after praying on it,” Osofomaame Mary is quoted as saying by adomonline.com.
The lady of God went on to say that the claimed witch identified herself as the queen mother of the New Winneba witches and that she was on a GHS50.00 assignment.
“She couldn’t say anything after that pronouncement until the police came in and took her away,” Osofomaame Mary continued.
It is unclear how the police handled the situation and whether the alleged witch was eventually released.
